Moss the Sheep
These sheep are knitted using moss stitch, and they make super toys, or pop them on your bookshelf to bring some woolly cheer to your home. This knitting pattern includes instructions to knit the large and small Moss the Sheep.
THE PATTERN INCLUDES: Row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the two sheep, photos, a list of abbreviations and explanation of some techniques, a materials list and recommended yarns.
TECHNIQUES: All pieces are knitted flat on straight knitting needles. You will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, and sew seams.
Please note: the sample was knit using a shade of Rowan Felted Tweed Aran which is no longer available. A substitute yarn in a suitable shade is shown below.
