A robust twist-stitch and lace pattern weaves down the leg and over the top of the foot in this top-down sock in four sizes (XS/S/M/L). Thick jungle vines pierced with light and shot with the colors of flowers and darting birds are brought to mind when a variegated yarn is used. The pattern is built with simple stitch maneuvers and the motif is reversible for toe-up construction.
Substituting needles and/or yarn may result in an overall variation in size, elasticity, and yardage requirement.
