This elegant and timeless cardigan features gently flaring cable panels for a graceful A-line shape, a beautifully embellished collar band, and long sleeves trimmed at the cuff with a simple motif. FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Bust - 32 (35, 36½, 38, 40½, 42)(45, 46½, 48, 49½, 52)" based on twice the back measurement. Fronts open at center 1½ - 2". Intended to be worn with 0-2" of ease.
YARN: 1140 (1215, 1250, 1310, 1355, 1430)(1535, 1610, 1665, 1725, 1800) yds DK weight wool or wool blend.
CONSTRUCTION: The fronts and back are knit separately from the bottom up and the shoulders are shaped with short rows and seamed with 3-needle bind off. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves and knit flat to the cuff, with the caps shaped with short rows. The sides and underarms are seamed, and stitches are picked up for the collar band.
