Whether you want to wear this as a sleeveless top or as a vest, you're sure to get a lots of use from this versatile top. Worked in 100% cotton, it's the perfect top for summer, or layer it as a vest for coolor weather.
Work the body in the round from the bottom up beginning with a sand rib self-start, waist shaping creates a more flattering fit. After you've divided the front and back at the armholes, work each half to the shoulders, then shape them using wrap and turn short-rows. Stitches are joined using Three-Needle Bind-Off. Simple three-round garter stitch edgings along the neck and armholes finish the top to perfection.
Originally designed to use North Light Fibers Seaside, a supima cotton/superfine merino blend, this reimagined version uses a 100% cotton yarn with the same gauge as the original.
