Mendip Placemats Knitting Pattern

Yarn:Rowan Original Denim worsted weight, 100% cotton, 92m/100 yds:50gm ball, gauge: 20 sts:10 cm/4 ins using 4mm/US #6 needles when working with a single strand of yarn, Colour #001 Memphis.Note:The mats are worked with 2 ends of yarn held together.

Techniques:Knitting, purling, increases, decreases, slipped stitches & working with two ends of yarn held together. + for tablemat only: Circular cast on & working in the round.
