Matilda Easter Bunny Knitting Pattern

Knit a pretty Easter Bunny in a soft spotty dress and spring cardigan.

To make your bunny, you’ll just need a ball of chunky yarn (for the bunny herself) and some double knitting yarn for the clothes- you can also knit her a carrot to hold. A really nice Easter present to make, she’s the perfect size for children to hug!

To make the bunny you’ll need to be able to cast on and off, knit, purl, and work increasing and decreasing stitches. The dress involves simple colourwork to make the spots which the instructions take you through step-by-step with lots of illustrations to help. All pieces are knitted flat so no knitting in the round is needed. The bunny measures 46cm tall when completed.

We used one ball of Stylecraft Special Chunky in Camel (1420) for the brown bunny and a ball of Silver (1203) for the grey bunny

The clothes are knitted from various colours of Wendy Peter Pan Dk, but you can use any Dk yarn you like,

You’ll also need a pair of 4mm and 4.5mm knitting needles.
