The Marielle Mommy & Me Crochet Set was inspired by a lovely lace stitch that I hadn't used since the Cascading Waterfall Wrap.
It's a fun and easy to memorize stitch that creates an elegant-looking fabric. In being true to myself, I wanted to make a hat in the round with an easy to wear accessory.
The Marielle Hat offers this fun stitch along the sides and the floppy brim. If you prefer a stiff brim, you can use wire or your favorite stiffening agent. I think the floppy brim adds to the fun of spring, and Easter dresses on little girls.
