The hat is fancy and easy to knit. It has textured pattern and beautiful butterfly at the front. The butterfly has cabled body decorated with glass beads. This hat is knitted in the rounds. I made the baby hat in beautiful cerise color using Drops Baby Merino super-wash extra fine wool shade 08 but actual color but type of yarn can be varied.
The knitting pattern is easy to follow and suitable for beginners. Depending on yarn type either you can make a spring/autumn hat or even a warm winter one. It contains six pages of written instructions, charts for butterfly’s body and wings and set of pictures that shows step by step decoration process. There are two sizes of butterfly’s wings for different sizes of hat in the pattern so if you want a bigger butterfly for a small hat size or a small butterfly for a bigger size hat. So, you have a choice!
