This scarf features the ever popular puff stitch, but gives you control of how the scarf turns out!
The Karen scarf as shown uses a super bulky weight yarn and a 9.0mm hook. There are written instructions for this size in a short cowl length, and long infinity scarf length.
This pattern also has instructions on how to adapt the scarf specifically for worsted weight yarn and a 5.0mm hook.
Sizing for this weight of yarn includes: 24" short cowl, 40" medium scarf, and 62" long scarf, with instructions on how to make the scarf longer or shorter according
