I was asked by a friend to knit a baby blanket for an expected grandchild. The yarn knitted very well and I am extremely pleased with the end result. So soft for a baby's skin. I used a free pattern in a cable design.
Quality throughout
Very good, soft to touch.great quality.idid run out at 1 point.(i knitted a bigger size) ..wool was out of stock, but once it became available, i was notified
Quick and easy
Beautifully soft wool and easy to knit.
Love, Love, Love, “Love Knitting”!
I bought a downloadable pattern by Sublime for extra fine merino double knitting. I am using Jenny Watson pure Merino double knitting in shade wm7 which is Taupe. This is a lovely soft yarn which is a dream to knit with and it feels soft against my skin. I purchase 12 balls and my total cost with the pattern was £53.00. I think this is very good value for quality yarn that is %100 pure merino wool.
Positive and negative
Wool is good a easy to work with and the finished product looks good.
Bravo yet again!
Have added comments above. I found yarn tended to 'split' easily. Nice feel to yarn.
