Japanese Lace Cowl

A beautiful Japanese stitch pattern inspired me to create this cowl. It reminded me of how beautiful leaves are throughout the year with their ever changing colours. The looped cowl cycles through the different colors just like the cycle of seasons throughout nature. Don’t be intimidated by the complex look of the pattern, it is rather easy to knit. No cabling required, these are mock cables, made by passing a stitch over another. That makes it a quick knit.
