You can create your own love seat with these squishy heart cushions filled with handmade affection. The pattern is to knit two sizes of heart, large and small. Each is inspired by a love heart tattoo, with angel wings and a “Love” scroll on the front. The embroidery on the larger scroll uses stem stitch and backstitch, and the smaller uses Swiss darning (duplicate stitch) embroidery and a chart is provided for this. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the cushions are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
