The Harvest Fingerless mittens were inspired by the important holiday in the Wiccan Calendar, Lammas, or Harvest Eve, the celebration of the first harvest. The cabled panels that adorn the back of the mitts are reminiscent of ears of wheat or rye, the universal symbols of harvest. Knit in the round on double pointed needles, or circular needles using the magic loop method.
