Named for the Great Smokey Mountains, this shawlette is a mixture of textures and is easier to knit than it looks. Garter stitch blocks of charcoal grey alternate with the shaded blues done in 5 colors of merino working the classic linen-stitch. Self-finishing i-cord on the edges (and used again to BO the final sts) mean that when you are done knitting this one and after blocking to finished dimensions ... you are ready to wear this unique shawlette.
The sample used 300 yards of Cloudborn Merino Sock Twist in Charcoal Grey (MC) and the CC1-CC5, using approx 100 yards of each, was from the Blue Dacnis Mini Set.
