Way back in 2013 I could not find a heart pattern that looked like an actual Valentine heart! 😕
First, I designed my little Granny Heart Valentine Bag and finally had a pattern that was shaped like a perfect little heart! ♥️
But then I needed a flatter, more solid and multi-purpose Granny Heart that could be used all year long. Success! Plus, this Granny Heart is also the perfect applique for decorating a variety of projects like gift bags, totes, baby clothes, and banners. The opportunities are endless 🩷🧡💛💚🩵💜
This is an INTERMEDIATE pattern, but I have included a FULL PHOTO TUTORIAL to help any beginners looking for a challenge. More experienced stitchers will just love how fast and fun these are to make. At 10 pages long it also has the printable version for those of us who still like to print them out ☺️
The directions are for worsted yarn, but you can really make it with any yarn and one hook size smaller than recommended on the label!
