Good Times Shawl

This shawl is really close to my heart. The company Pascuali, in collaboration with Melanie Berg, designed the wonderful new yarn “Balayage”. I was one of the first knitters to knit my design with the yarn and was enthusiastic from the start about the wonderfully soft blend of alpaca and merino wool. The color palette of the balayage is incredibly beautiful and varied, from bold colors to pastel and muted tones, everything is included. For the design, I used various techniques and patterns that I particularly like. Stripes and relaxed garter stitch sections alternate with “V” sections which bring a bit of a challenge. In my opinion best mix for the perfect knitting experience. The shawl is knitted sideways and has an asymmetrical shape. I also worked with the following techniques: Knitting, purling, increases, decreases, simple cross stitches, Three-Needle Bind-Off, slipped stitches
