This gingerbread man originated over a holiday when I started missing Christmas cookies. It is worked in sc, with the help of foundational stitches to avoid cutting the yarn more than absolutely necessary.
There are two versions given in the pattern: An sc-only version and a pearl stitch pattern version. The latter incorporates inverse stitches to give a neater texture.
The pattern is both in written form and charted.
The pattern comes with picture tutorials for * foundational single crochet * sideways increases * surface crochet (for embellishments) * inverse single crochet (for the pearl pattern)

hook: 3 mm (US size C or D)
