In Fall 2019 I took a class with Bristol Ivy on "Knitting Outside the Box" and my mind was blown! She took us through a number of exercises to help our creative process and one of these was an exercise using Mad Libs. We each got three words and we were to use these to come up with a knitting concept.
I got ‘stripes,’ ‘cowl’ and ‘goofy’. This cowl design was the result. Thanks Bristol!
Note: Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Worsted yarn is listed as a DK but I it knits like a worsted weight yarn. I used all but a few yards of the 3 skeins of Woolstok in my sample. If you are using Woolstok for the cowl, you may wish to purchase an extra skein.

Yarn: 410 yards/375 meters of merino wool worsted weight yarn that knits up to 7-7.5 sts/inch.
Shown in: Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Worsted, (123 yards/112 meters; 100% wool; 1.76 oz/50 grams per skein). 3 skeins in 1309 Earth Ivy.
