Welcome to my very first designed shawl! This pattern was inspired by my love of archery and chevrons. It is named the Fletching Shawl because of the cable pattern resembling the feathers on the back of an arrow.
This pattern involves a mix of cables and garter stitch. It involves just enough mindless garter stitch and focused pattern work to create a fun and engaging knit!
This pattern includes 2 sizes, a large and an extra-large size. The sample is knit in the Extra-Large size, creating a large blanket-style shawl.
One of my favourite things about shawls is that gauge is a recommendation, not a requirement. Grab any worsted or bulky weight yarn and knit yourself up this fantastic shawl!
