Dotty the Little Ghost

Meet Dotty, she is an adorable little ghost that likes to scare people.

This pattern is written using UK crochet terminology. It is a simple pattern, with minimal shaping. The feet are a little tricky for beginners but I have included a photo guide for each step of constructing the bottom of your ghost. The pattern is worked from bottom to top and once the feet are joined together this pattern is worked in continuous rounds.

To make Dotty you will need a 3.5 mm crochet hook and 1 ball of Stylecraft Special Aran yarn in white or cream. You will also need a small amount of contrasting colour yarn to stitch the mouth.

The safety eyes are optional. To make your ghost suitable for children under three years, instead of using safety eyes simply stitch some eyes using some contrasting yarn.
