Damask Lace Shawl

This is a pattern for a knit shawl that features several Estonian stitches, both gathered and lace, combined in a beautiful wrap. However, unlike many Estonian shawls, in which you knit the edging separately, and then sew or graft it on, I have modified the edging, so that it is knitted on, which is way most of use are used to adding out edging. There are also instructions contained within the pattern for an optional crocheted edging. Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting).
