A simple cowl pattern made from a skein of multi-coloured English wool, hand-spun and plied by Lindsay Crafts. Knit on 10mm needles in a chunky to super chunky yarn, this cowl knits up in a simple old shale lace pattern in a few hours. It is knit flat and the sides are seemed together at the end. Blocking before seeming, gives its distinctive shape.
