Fascinating travelling lines flow across the ribbed fabric of this cosy and fully reversible shawl.
This shawl features travelling ribbed lines that form an hourglass motif emerging from a ribbed background. There are no cables needed to form the curved lines, but only simple increases/decreases are used. And magically, it even creates a reversible fabric, so it doesn’t matter which way you wear your shawl!
Coral Reef Shawl is a triangular, sideways-knit shawl. You start knitting at one tip, then work your way across to the opposite edge.
The pattern is written for fingering weight held together with a fluffy Suri yarn, but it is easily adjustable if you wish to use a different yarn, weight and/or make a smaller/larger shawl according to the yardage you have available.
Fully written row-by-row as well as charted instructions are provided so you can choose which you prefer to work from.
