This pattern includes directions to make a trivet and a coaster. The trivet comes in three different shapes (circle, square, and oval) and the coaster comes in two different shapes (circle and square).
These are quick to make and perfect for markets. One skein of yarn can make up to three trivets. They also make great gifts for weddings, Christmas, and housewarmings.
This pattern uses a unique stitch - Twisted Slip stitch. To learn the stitch the pattern comes with several video tutorials. The stitch forms a starfish shape in the round which makes the trivets reversible!
