The Bow Valley Parkway between Banff and Lake Louise takes you through the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Take time to enjoy the views and you are nearly guaranteed to see wildlife: caribou, elk, bighorn sheep, or perhaps even a grizzly bear.
The cabled yoke band is knit first. Stitches are picked up along this band and the neckline is worked to the collar. Next stitches are picked up and the yoke is knit downward. After separation, sleeves and body are knit down to the cuff and hems. Button bands are worked last.
The samples were knitted in Brooklyn Tweed Shelter, shades Artifact, Button jar, Faded Quilt and Sap. A substitute yarn is shown below.
