Inspired by candy colours and rainbows, The Candy Twist Blanket is worked in rows using different crochet stitches to create a ribbed effect with sections of colour and texture.
The Candy Twist Blanket is a relaxing pattern to make, but with enough variation of stitch combinations to keep the process mindful.
This pattern is in UK and US crochet terms and requires knowledge of basic crochet stitches, basic crochet terms, and how to change colours. Special stitches are explained and photo guidance is provided at the end of the pattern.
Yarn used for this pattern is acrylic yarn in aran/worsted weight, however this pattern can be worked in any alternate yarn weight using the relevant hook size suggested by the manufacturer, for the yarn chosen (this will affect finished size of blanket).
