The Candy Stripe Shawl is a triangular bottom up shawl. It has it's name due to the striped i-cord along its top edge. The lace border consisting of playful tassels and the striped body make this a delightful design to brighten up your mood and warm your neck. The Shawl comes in two sizes: The small neck-kerchief knits up very quickly and is perfect under jackets or coats to keep out the wind without adding bulk. The shawl is big enough to cuddle up in and also a lovely gift to someone else or yourself.
The pattern has photo tutorials for parts of the lace and for grafting the ends together.
Needles: 4mm and 5mm (US sizes 6 & 8) circular needles at least 60cm long, small needle or safety pin for wrapping.
Yarn: Lace weight to fingering weight yarn.
The samples are shown in Isager Tvinni (beige and red, size Small) and Rellana Lace and Debbie Bliss Rialto Lace (green and sage, size Large).
