Finally a soft doll sized to fit all of those beautiful clothes designed for the American Girl, 18” dolls. And unlike it’s vinyl counterparts, this doll is soft and cuddly enough to sleep with and light enough to take everywhere your favorite little girl goes.
Intermediate Level: All doll parts are knit in the round. This doll has the panties knit right in (non-removable) and the legs include the picot edge of the panties. The doll body/head is one piece and stuffed while knitting and totally complete when closed at top of head. You will use short rows to create heels and shape foot. There is right and left foot shaping. Legs are stuffed after knitting and sewn to body. The arms are stuffed while knitting and totally complete when closed at top of arm then sewn to the body. The wig is a knit cap with the hairstyles knit right in which is then sewn to the doll’s head. Minimal finishing. Satisfying and fun knit.
