Bertie the beaver

This is a downloadable PDF amigurumi/ crochet pattern written in US terminology- not a physical item. When made with the stated yarn weight and hook size, the finished toy will be approx 17cm tall (19 cm with the hat on).

To make Bertie the beaver you will need to know how to do the following:

ch- chain

mr- magic ring

sl st- slip stitch

sc- single crochet

inc- increase

invdec- invisible decrease

sc2tog- single crochet two together

hdc- half double crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

FLO- front loops only

BLO- back loops only

Materials needed:

● DK yarn- I used Hayfield bonus DK in Walnut, Chocolate, Pecan, White, Fields of gold and Bronze

● 3mm crochet hook

● 8mm black safety eyes

● Brown embroidery thread

● Stuffing

● Scissors

● Sewing needle- appropriate size for the yarn

● Stitch marker

● Pins to help with sewing
