A counted cross stitch pattern of a pair of Banded Wrens as drawn by Elizabeth Gould. These Australian native birds are also known as Splendid Wrens. The male is a bright blue colour while the female is brown.
This design uses whole cross stitches only. At 162 x 272 stitches, the finished design size is approximately 29.4 cm x 49.3 cm (11.6" x 19.5"). (On 14-count Aida and does not include margins for framing.)
