Balthazar the realistic cat

With this very detailed pattern, you can make a realistic cat. It is written in standard American crochet terms.

MaterialsWorsted weight yarn and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. 3 colours: Oatmeal 0085, sheep black 0052 and white 0051. For the nose you can use any colour and yarn you like. For the eyes I’ve used 10 mm animal eyes. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for a bit of extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). A pipe-cleaner to make the tail bendable is optional.
