Babar stands 11 inches tall. He is knit in the round with worsted weight yarn, and in one piece from the neck down, so there is very little seaming required. The knitter has the option of making him with his trunk up or down; both versions are included in this pattern.
Gauge is not critical for a stuffed toy, but should be the same for both his body and his green suit, should you decide to make it.
