All Who Wander Scarf & Cowl

Whether you love to play with different color combinations or just have lots of yarn leftover from other projects, this scarf and cowl duo is a great addition to any wardrobe, and is perfect for gift giving. These pieces were inspired by what I had used in The Wanderer Pullover. The knit/purl pattern is the perfect chance for beginner knitters to learn reading charts and knitting in the round for the cowl.

Slipped stitches at the beginning of every scarf row create smooth edges, and by changing colors at the end of the row, the slipped stitch is the same color as the new row.

If you choose your own color combinations, each row of the scarf uses about 1 yard (.9 meters) of yarn, and each round of the cowl uses about 2 1/2 yards (2.3 meters) of yarn. See the info sheet for the amounts used in each piece.
