Set sail with your little one in this dress knit from the bottom up.
The dress is knit in the round and split for armhole openings, then worked back and forth for the bodice. Short row shaping is used for the neckline. The back has a button closure for ease in dressing. The generous armholes lend itself to wearing alone for cooler sailing or with a shirt under as shown in the photo.
The original is done in traditional "pirate" colors, but it would be darling in many different color combinations.
