3 twisty cables wind their way around this cozy cushion. Super-chunky/super-bulky yarn makes for an up-to-date and super-quick knit. You can display it with the buttons showing as a design feature, or the other way round showing off the cabling.
The pattern is easy/intermediate, as you will need to know how to cast/bind on and off, knit, purl, and simple cabling. (Easy even if it’s your first time cabling!) This is an envelope cushion cover with buttons and buttonholes to enable easy insertion of the cushion. There is the option of no buttons or buttonholes for a simpler closure on the reverse of the cushion, if you prefer. Knitted on 2 needles and sewn up the sides. Clear line by line instructions in English, with British/US terms. Quick and fun to knit and a great introduction to cable knitting!
The sample was made with Drops Snow, colour 31 Pastel Blue. Two alternative yarns are shown below.
