I love crafts of all kinds, I have sewn many quilts, knitted many garments and just started learning to crochet during the lock-in. I have chronic arthritis in both of my hands as well as my back so gave up knitting for a lot of years until I recently started using bamboo needles, a knitted throw is in progress and I have knitted a miniature elephant and hippo. As for learning crochet, well, another throw is nearly complete, made out of crochet stars, as well as a string shopping bag in progress. I always have many projects on the go because I can do a bit of each project depending on the pain, the miniature animals are easy when the back is so bad I cannot support weight. With the crochet items I have found it amazing that the yarn is held in the left hand, great, my right hand is the worst of the two. When I tidy the craft room, I will have the started quilts to fall back on when my hands really do not want to work. I sew my quilts on a Juki sewing machine.
