I was taught to knit as a child by my Nan and made lots of Fair Isle and picture jumpers as an improverished student in the late 70s / early 80s. Now retired, I got back into knitting during lockdown and love making special gifts. Until late 2024, these were mostly for friends’ babies and grandchildren but I now have a grandaughter of my own to knit for!
