I was a civil servant for forty-five years before retiring at the end of 2020. Looking for something to do in the depths of the pandemic I indulged my interest in writing. I have now published five books. I developed my own website showing my books. In between writing I knit when I can. My partner has a new grand daughter and she is still too young to say 'I'm not wearing that' when confronted with my efforts. I try to get to the gym a few times a week, but I am slightly more successful in visiting cafés for coffee and cake. I live in Gateshead on the banks of the river Tyne and share my life with my partner Mark and I have a sister living in Wales.
