I have been knitting since I was a little girl, taught by my auntie, and I just love to relax with a good book and a garment on the needles after the days work is done. I'm a farm worker in the spring and autumn, run a farm shop in summer and in the winter I work in a hardwood tree nursery packing bare root plants for customers. Much of my life is spent outdoors, dressed in overalls and covered in mud, so it's nice to sit quietly and knit in my free time.
