I'm a mother and work as a community care worker. I learnt the knitting basics from my mother when I was young but never really continued with it. Last year I cared for an elderly lady who inspired me to start knitting again. At the age of 94 she was still knitting for her great granddaughter, she was an amazing lady. Coming up to a year since I started knitting my little squares for a blanket :) with a few projects in-between as I get a little bored if it takes a long time :(
