I love knitting, my grandmother taught me to knit when I was about 8 years old and have been knitting off and on for 50 years. I loved knitting Patricia Roberts patterns in my late teens and twenties when there was a Patricia Roberts store here in Sydney. I started knitting again in earnest last year (2019) when recuperating from a broken ankle, where I found a huge online knitting community via love crafts and access to a variety of wonderful yarns and patterns simply not available here in Australia. I have not been able to put my knitting down since and this is fuelled by family and friends’ requests for garments and the birth of my great nephew. I’m learning new techniques via the internet and Love Crafts and just love browsing the Love Crafts offers. Generally, I work on one project at a time and absolutely enjoy the knitting process but fall short when it comes to sewing up the projects.
