I wanted an easy to follow, uncomplicated pattern with a useful end product. Laura Kidd's pattern was both of these things and I'm glad I found it. For the first one (dark/light blue) I completed, I adjusted the needle size and amount of stitches so it is slightly smaller than the second one (light blue/green). In my timeline for this project, I have completed both hats spending a varying amount of time each day.
