I made this beanie for my mum for Christmas. I made this hat slightly longer than specified in the pattern (which I recommend) as I thought my mum would prefer it to be a usual fit rather than cropped. The yarn I used from Tamarisk Farm was brilliant. However, I struggled to get the tension right with the yarn from Bramblecot. Although it looked aesthetically pleasing, it was very brittle.
