I was trying to think of something special to knit for my friend’s new grand child and she suggested a Huddersfield Town cardigan as her son is a big fan. I borrowed an HTFC shirt from another friend to match the shade of blue and then created this design. I hunted the internet for a sew on patch to no avail but did find this silicone iron on patch, which I ordered. I was sent 7 so had a few extras for practice. I knitted some square patches for experimentation. I added it using middle heat iron and I made a grease proof paper cutout so I wasn’t ironing straight onto the knitted fabric. It was a bit of a faff.
