I made this for my four year old Grandson for Christmas, so he can hang it in his bedroom. I had made a crossstitch for his baby brother when he was born and the older grandson wanted me to make him one. He loves donkeys, so when I saw this kit at Lovecrafts, it was a no brainer. It was fun to do and I am always surprised at how effective these crossstitches are when finished. I washed and stretched the finished canvas before affixing it to a self-adhesive board and popping it into the frame I bought on eBay. I am sure he will be pleased.

I love these Bothy Threads kits, I’ve done a couple of them and they are fun. You have done a lovely job of framing it.
It’s beautiful, and such a great idea too, and if kept a family heirloom. Beautiful picture 😊
