After I made a starting school bear for Jonah his granny contacted me and asked for a bigger teddy for herself. She had a story about her teddy going back about 70 years and how her sister had ‘acquired’ it. She’d never had another one until now. Such a responsibility. I’m not totally happy with his face but then I never am.

Love your Romeo bear
Ohh Romeo Romeo how lovely are u Mr Romeo.lol. so what's wrong with his face and nose I think he is one very handsome wee man. I totally agree about faces, I leave mine to last and hope it turns out. As u ladies say we are our own worse critics.lol.😉😉😊😊💕
Such a cute bear Julie and his outfit is fab💕
Love your bear. His outfit is great. The colours work well
A beautifully knitted and dressed Romeo. I’m sure Yvonne will love her special bear 🐻 🥰
Romeo is gorgeous Julie, I love his outfit 💕💕
Romeo is lovely Julie and he will be loved! As Mary says, we are all so self critical of our makes, but I suppose everyone wants to make the perfect toy! 😍
Ouch, the curse of perfectionism us knitters seem to have in common ... I wouldn't wish on any maker, but it's just a bit reassuring to know I'm not the only one ☺️ Faces are the hardest task imo! Your bear is just gorgeous Julie, (as are all of your knits) and will make that granny very happy 🧸❤️
He is lovely . It is so hard to do faces.
Romeo is my favourite bear of all the ones I’ve made Julie, and I love yours. 🥰 His grey and white outfit is really lovely. Faces are really hard and I’m never really happy with the ones I make either but I find glass headed pins really help to plan where all the features are going to go so you can move them about until you’re happy-ish! 😄
