First time using circular needles. Pattern was easy to follow, a free download from Lovecrafts. There is a link on the pattern to YouTube tips for this sweater. I watched all three videos before starting this sweater. I decided to use the designer’s tips to make this sweater special. These tips included a typical Icelandic casting on and casting off technique which made the ribbing more elastic and very neat - I will definitely use these techniques in future projects. I LOVED making this sweater. The yarn knitted up very quickly and the pattern was easy to follow. The only problem is that the design doesn’t suit me. I have narrow shoulders and the finished sweater swamps them! Fortunately my daughter is bigger than me and is very happy to have it!

Well done you! This is lovely, fabulous colours too. It’s great to learn new techniques. Lucky daughter.
I so want to make one but will I finish it? Fabulous work
Well done what a gorgeous sweater for your first time knitting with circulars ⭐️
Beautiful sweater, worth all the effort.
Your homework before you started obviously paid off with this jumper. It looks quite challenging. The fairisle patterns are beautiful. What a shame you don’t feel it’s right for you. That’s so disappointing when you’ve taken so much trouble over it and enjoyed the process. Your daughter is very lucky she can benefit.
