Fancied doing a bit of colour work for a change and did enjoy it. Have been working on this for a while. Put it down to do Christmas knits. Wool used in pattern wasn't available and do I do like this wool, but not sure on my colour choice this time. The blue is more turquoise than it looks on the site. Went for a smaller needle to get the correct tension, but with hindsite think I would have preferred the slightly looser texture on the 4 mm. Wouldn't have minded a slightly looser fit. The pattern is well written and easy to follow. Found the rib a bit labourous at first, though it did get easier with practice. Ran out of wool twice, second time on last bit of neck, so just worked this in the contrast and think worked out ok. Did one and one rib on neck by mistake, however worked out better as was able to to invisible one and one rib cast off for neater edge. Think on reflection I actually like the one and one rib better. Having finished it I think it looks better on the pattern.

Fabulous jumper Jean. Great colours.

Wow absolutely stunning Jean I love the design and the colours you have used are perfect.😊😊

Simply gorgeous Jean. Beautiful colours, beautiful design, beautifully made. 🤩

It's lovely! I've had my eye on this pattern as well but was put off as the wool is discontinued. Thanks for your comments about ribbing/shaping... it always helps!

Looks lovely on you Jean, fits you great. I agree that the 1x1 rib looks better, it is really tedious to knit though. I find German short rows a little less visible than wrap and turns although I can still see them but that’s probably because I know where they are! Great job.
