"I made this for fun and to try out a new pattern"

Happy new year. My first Paddington of 2025 and this year he has a mini me. The clothes for big Paddington are a mixture of Knitables raincoat and my go to old slouch hat pattern that one of you sent me years ago. I’ve wanted to make the smaller version for a while- it’s Franklin bear from Knits2cute. I found needle size quite a challenge as I made the head according to the pattern but then the hat was ginormous. I tried it on smaller needles and 4 ply but still much too big. I gave up and used this free pattern I found on Pinterest. The bear was knitted in dk yarn and all the clothes and boots in 4ply. Both these guys have hidden marmalade sandwiches under their hats.

Ok first of all they are both gorgeous, the wool you have used for the big one is perfect and look at their smart outfits and suitcases. 1😊😊BUT Julie wee Pad is soo upset he said he didn't mean to be so much trouble for you and doesn't like being in the naughty corner. So could he please go to Auntie Michelle's who as Linzi guessed has a big tub of honey all ready for them.😉😉😂😂💕💕
