"I made this for A friend’s baby"

It was based on a design I had seen for a cushion cover. Hexagon granny squares crocheted in 3 colours which you stitch together giving this fantastic geometric cube design. Unfortunately with all the colour changes it was hard to keep the back side looking neat, so I blanket stitched some micro fleece to the back. Crocheting the blanket squares was fairly straightforward but it took quite a while to stitch them all together ...my least favourite part of a project!
